This bench was crafted with wood reclaimed from New York City boardwalks. The rainforest woods used for these boardwalks are often referred to under the blanket term îpe, and reputed for their resilincy to water and harsh conditions. However, the gorgeous deep red grain of this wood belongs to the massaranduba tree.
